Leaving the noisy county capital – Zalaegerszeg – to the northeast after a 7,5 km ride Zalaszentiván can be found. The village is located in a picturesque environment, on the left side of the rivers Zala and Sárvíz.
Due to the location of the village – in the valley of the river Zala– it can offer a wide range
of cultural and natural values. One can rest in the surrounding woods, there are many places
to visit: vine cellars, fishing lakes, museums as well as pathes for hiking and biking. One
can swim in the Gébárti lake, and in Zalaegerszeg you can visit and enjoy the Aqua city and
Thermal bath as well.
Zalaszentiván is easy to travel to, the village is located near the Sümeg priority road. Should
you choose traveling with bus: the public transportation between Sümeg and Zalaegerszeg
is outstanding. If one prefers train: the Szombathely- Nagykanizsa and the Bajánsenye-
Zalaegerszeg-Ukk-Boba railwais are crossing here.
The Rózsa Guesthouse offers accomodation all year for those who visit the village. The
guesthouse has five highly comfortable rooms with bathrooms. The building is a two-storied
house where as many as 13 people can be quartered. The guesthouse has a kitchen and a
garden where a corner has been designed for a children playground. While the children play
the adults can make grilled food in the toaster oven – also located in the garden.
